Chicago is one of the largest cities in the United States, it has a unique architectural style. Each building Downtown has its own unique story, and I hope to convey the special story of Chicago architecture through my camera.

Stairs

Stairs originally served to link two floors, but over time stairs have been designed in more diverse styles. Gradually, the staircase has changed from a link between floors to an interior architectural device with ornamental value.

The Moody Church

The Moody Church building is located at the corners of North Avenue, Clark Street, and LaSalle Street. It was designed by architects Fugard and Knapp. Construction was begun in 1924 and completed 1 year later, with dedication of the building on November 8, 1925. Covering an area of 140 feet by 225 feet, the church melds features of both Romanesque and Byzantine architecture, and is one of the largest Romanesque churches in the US. (Wikipedia)

Unity Temple

Unity Temple is a Unitarian Universalist church in Oak Park, Illinois, and the home of the Unity Temple Unitarian Universalist Congregation. It was designed by the American architect Frank Lloyd Wright, and built between 1905 and 1908. (Wikipedia)
